What we collect
- Public comments: your TikTok/Instagram @ and the city you commented on our videos, to build your house on the map.
- If you sign in with Google (only to paint your house or like houses): your email and an account ID that Google gives us. We never see your password or anything else in your Google account.
- Your drawing (16×16 front and roof) and the @ you linked it to, plus the likes you give.
- Alerts (optional): the email or WhatsApp number you choose, only if you turn alerts on.
Why
Only to run the game: show your house, check that the @ is yours, count likes and moderate reported drawings. We don't sell or share your data with anyone and we don't send ads.
What is public
Your @, your county, your points, your drawing and its likes are visible on the map. Your email is never shown.
Deleting your data
Email townaliveusa@gmail.com from the address you signed in with (or DM us DELETE) and we delete your account link, your house and your drawing. Reply STOP on WhatsApp to stop alerts.
Children
Town Alive USA is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Google sign-in is only for people 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 gave us information, email us and we will delete it.
Messages
The only private message we send is one automatic reply with your house link right after your first comment. We never ask for personal information by DM.
